Evaluation Criteria


Content & Presentation (30%)
1. Is the content compelling and original? Is there any infringement of copyright? Does the author give due reference to copyright material used in the website? (10%)

2. How well does the content inform the audience about the non-profit organization? Is the content and language appropriate for the target audience of the organization? Is the language grammatically correct and appropriately communicate the message to the target audience? (5%)

3. Does the content include text, speech, music, still pictures, dynamic graphics? Are these modalities appropriate for the content? (5%)

4. Is the presentation clear, consistent and visually pleasing? Does it communicate the character of the organization? (5%)

5. Is the load time for each web page reasonably fast? (5%)

Functionality (15%)
1. How interactive is the website? Is it intuitive? Consistent? Predictable? (5%)

2. Can the user send e-mails to the website administrator? (3%)

3. Can the user alter the language used? (3%)

4. Is it apparent that the information on the site can be updated? (2%)

5. Is the content and design user-friendly to people who don't have state-of-the-art equipment and software? (2%)

Overall Impact (10%)
1. Does the website provide a memorable experience to the user? (5%)

2. Would you visit the website again? (5%)

NGO (30%)
1. Do the students pay enough visits to your organization in the course of designing the website? (5%)

2. How do you rate the student's attitude when dealing with your organization? (5%)

3. Do the students understand your organization's needs and aptly translate that into the design of the website? (10%)

4. Would you use the website designed by the students? (10%)

Attendance & Meeting Deadlines (15%)
1. Did each student attend at least 4 of the 6 training sessions? (5%)

2. Did the student group submit their work according to the Project Milestone Schedule? (5%)

3. Did the student group submit their design for evaluation on time and show up for the exhibition? (5%)
